  We've all heard the saying 'Prevention is better than cure'. It is easier to prevent a situation occurring than recovering from the consequences of a terrible event. I remember when I was scammed by a company in 2019. This company put themselves out there as a coaching company looking for like-minded people to partner with and change lives. Well they certainly did change my life as I was scammed out of a considerable amount of money! They start first by investing in your 'trust bank'. They win your trust so you don't even realise you have been scammed, until you wake up the next morning and as the Nigerian saying goes, 'your eye don clear'! It took me a long while to recover from this incident, a situation which could have been prevented if I was more diligent in looking out for red flags and other 'tell-tale' signs. The trouble with Pain is that it blinds you to everything else that is not painful, everything else that is going well, every other blessing that could outweigh the pain. The trouble with Pain is that it takes your attention away from the solution and keeps you focused on it. The trouble with Pain is that it keeps you playing over in your memory ‘what was’ rather than trigger your imagination to ‘what could be’. The trouble with Pain is that it could be crippling, stopping you from walking into your calling and destiny. The trouble with Pain is that it keeps you thinking of the people that hurt you rather than the people that bless you. The trouble with Pain is that it fools you into thinking that it will never go away and that you have to live with the scars and memories throughout your life.
