Where did the ‘Good’ in ‘Good Morning’ go?
Good morning! Yes you know my bone of contention this morning! P lease when you see me in the morning don’t tell me ‘Morning’ because just like you, God has favoured me and allowed me to wake up to see another beautiful day. When I wake up in the morning, the first thing I do is thank Him for blessing me with the gift of another day, so I definitely know its morning. The blind man knows it’s a new day. His senses are sharp enough to know when a new day has dawned. So please don’t tell him ‘morning’ when you pass him on the street. He knows it’s morning! All we ask for is a simple prayer that the morning goes well. If the morning goes well, chances are that the afternoon will go well too.
